Strands of Beauty has been doing it right and not tight since 2006 ! We are a chemical-free braid salon specializing in Tree Braids, both Cornrow and Individual along with hot and cold tipped extensions. We only carry high quality, unique, and custom blended human and synthetic hair for our braids and extensions. Our focus is on healthy hair through braids and protective styles. Providing service in multiple cities, our team of braiders are trained to provided top quality customer service, one of a kind custom styles, and most importantly help meet your hair goals.

Who We Are
Our staff is comprised of Braiders-in Training, Trainers, and Master Braiders. Our Braiders.
Our Braiders- in- Training have completed a comprehensive and extensive training course comprised of:
- Classroom Courses & Quizzes
- Practical Hands-on Training and Coaching
Their work is supervised and coached to ensure proper technique and quality for our clients.
Our Trainers are extensively experienced in all braids techniques. They have first hand knowledge and experience in Strands of Beauty Culture and policy.
Our Master Braiders train our trainers and have thousands of hours in braiding and braid curriculum development.

About Ethena
Doing it right, not tight since 2006.
Ethena is an American master braider and extension specialist with over 100,000 hours of installing protective techniques such as Tree Braids, Crochet Braids, Weaves, and Extensions. She is the founder and owner of Ethena Beauty and Strands of Beauty. During her beauty career, she has owned and managed ten (10) salons simultaneously (two civilian and eight military locations).
